Writing and reading has always been a passion for this author who worked for years in the corporate environment as an IT project manager before moving to writing full time. She has completed several writing courses which have helped her craft her stories. She said that in order to be a great writer, you need to have a significant amount of curiosity.
Ms Roland noted that writing is hard work and that she rewrites passages numerous times before she is happy with the text.
This author has a notebook full of ideas for future stories and this is kept close for you never know what will spark an idea for the next novel. The idea for this series came from thoughts around ‘having children in the natural way’. Ms Roland has crafted a suspense story with thought provoking ideas and a moral dilemma.
A thoroughly enjoyable time spent with a delightful lady with a wonderful sense of humour.
Book Two (of three) in the Limbo series:
Paola Dante is a driven project manager. Long ago she made a decision that matters of the heart were inherently messy and should be kept at arm’s distance. But her husband had surprised her; she had no resistance against Daniel. Now she sees herself as a survivor who has successfully moved on from the traumatic events and terrible truth surrounding her husband’s sudden disappearance years before. An unlikely and ill-equipped mother, she stands alone between their adopted daughter Simone and a criminal kingpin. To save her daughter − and herself − once and for all, Paola will face her every fear, her every mistake, and the past she thought she’d finally processed and left behind.
