It was a treat to see a dream come to fruition! Ms Claven launched her first book, Ensnared, at Rumours Rock City, Blackheath. Supported by her family and friends, along with many other self-published Indie Authors, Ms Claven discussed how the story came into being, the encouragement and assistance she received from other authors and her obsession with Harry Potter and Star Wars!
Ensnared is a horror novella which opens with 20-year old
Amari arriving at her new home – an old farmhouse surrounded by a dead forest………..The author noted that her characters were formed with personalities mirroring some facets of the people who are important to her. The setting however, is completely fictional. Although it only took six weeks to bring this project to fruition, Ms Claven has been writing for many years and hopes that one day, her fantasy trilogy will be completed and published – watch this space!
